The Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br) and the Brazilian Network Information Center (NIC.br) held for nine years surveys on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Brazil, aiming at producing and disseminating relevant statistics and indicators regarding the possession and use of these technologies by various segments of Brazilian society.

The NIC.br Annual Workshop on Survey Methodology is an annual event designed as a space for the discussion and training in survey methodologies. The workshop aims to develop conceptual and theoretical skills among producers and consumers of ICT statistics, focusing on methodological rigor in surveys, a better application of qualitative and quantitative methods, and the relevance of techniques of data analysis and presentation.
