Promoted by Cetic.br|NIC.br, Sesc São Paulo, and PUC-SP, meetings will take place from May to October this year

The 4th edition of the Cycle "Culture, Education, and Technologies in Debate" will discuss inclusion, opportunities, and reduction of social inequalities in relation to the triad of culture, education, and technology. Divided into six meetings, from May to October, the event is a co-promotion of the Regional Center for Studies on the Development of the Information Society (Cetic.br) at the Brazilian Network Information Center (NIC.br), with Sesc São Paulo and the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). The debates will be mediated by journalist Paulo Markun.

“These spaces for reflection on such relevant issues, bringing together different voices, align with one of our main purposes, which is to contribute to the development of the information society through the dissemination of knowledge. We are pleased to carry out this 4th edition alongside these two esteemed institutions,” comments the manager of Cetic.br|NIC.br, Alexandre Barbosa, adding that the data from Cetic.br surveys will support the discussions.

He will speak about digital, cultural, and educational inequalities in the scenario unveiled by the COVID-19 pandemic.
