The Action Plan on the Information Society in Latin America and the Caribbean and the Digital Agenda for Latin America and the Caribbean (eLAC) ground a regional vision of the role that digital technologies play for development. This report, prepared by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), as the Technical Secretariat of the Digital Agenda for Latin America and the Caribbean, with the collaboration of the Regional Center for Studies for the Development of the Information Society (Cetic. br), examines the main indicators on the adoption of digital technologies as related to the objectives of the aforementioned Agenda.
